Time for some sport – It’s healthy September!

So – what is healthy September?

As I spent most of my evenings in August sitting in a class room working on my Finnish skills, my spare time was fairly limited. Of course there was the weekends but normally these would be used for a visit to the Mökki so that the amount of my sport activities dropped fairly low.

This is now what I’m trying to compensate this month in what I call myself “healthy September”… The goals I set myself are basically only that I increase my level of activity above average (which according to my yearly statistics is somewhere around 2 excercises / week).

Halfway through September it is already looking very promising:

healthy_september_part1Within these two weeks I have already had the same amount of runs than for example within the whole month of June.

Now with the Espoo Ranta(puoli)marathon coming up next Saturday (the last race on this year’s race schedule) I will take this week a bit slower, or maybe just focus on some cross-training activities… Hopefully this will allow me to relax enough so that I might end up with a good end result again!
