As usual, good times go by much too fast. After four months internship, I’m now back at ETH and already started with my master thesis.
The last few weeks in Finland were exactly as I hope it would be. At university, the only thing left to do was bringing all the tools together I created and document them, so that Ilkka can continue to use them even though I’m now back in Switzerland. Additionally we used these last few days to make some more visits to FGI, FM-International and Arbonaut.
I was very happy that I also got the some opportunities to meet most of my friends for one more time. The last weekend we spent at Seija’s summer cottage, where i once more could show my skills as an icefisher :-)
Back home I had to unpack first and get all settled in again, so that I could start with my master thesis. For this I now got a workplace at ETH, which I hope helps me getting more or less regulated working days for the next few weeks.
A little bit surprised I realised, that the Engadin Skimarathon is just around the corner. Fortunately I had some time for practising during my internship, so I should be well prepared for this event.
All in all I think I had a good start into my last semester at ETH. Let’s hope that this will continue like this until the end.
