Week 8 of every year, Finns here in the Helsinki region have their skiing holidays (or Hiihtoloma as they call it).

It’s the time of the year again where I think about the plans for the coming months.

As I really enjoyed my last Midnight Run (2011) it was clear that this event would be on my race calendar for this year.

Another year another meeting – this time in Wroclaw Poland… As always you can find some impressions on my flickr page…

With the beginning of a new year one starts to think about the plans for the coming months.

… and it came way too fast.

I guess since IGSM 2006 in Cracow, every Finn I met told me about Vappu and tried to persuade me to join them for this special event.

Just a week after my return from Nepal, it was time for this years IGSM.
