Cycling: 36 Activities (+14) / 1233.82km (+684.14km)

Crosscountry Skiing: 13 Activities (-2)/ 200.01km (-99.75km)

Some comments on these numbers:

Thanks to a lot of cycling and more frequent running I managed to increase my average number of exercising per week to a 2.27 activities/week and a total of 118 activities. I’m fairly happy with that and will try to keep on rolling…

Races

Last year’s race schedule was very similar to the one from 2013. When I was asked to participate the Jukola relay, I decided to take this opportunity and skip the Summer Run instead. Looking back it was a great experience and who knows when I’ll be doing something similar again… Unfortunately I missed the Midnightrun, but I will definitely have it on my schedule again this year.

Other than that I’m extremely pleased with my results. I’m especially happy to see that I managed to keep improving my half-marathon times…

In terms of traveling, 2014 was a fairly quiet year. This has mainly to do with me changing position with the company which nowadays includes less traveling. As a result the only business trip I made in 2014 was to Intergeo in Berlin. Let’s see what 2015 will bring…
