While it’s snowing in Europe and everybody is preparing for christmas, I’m sitting a little bit closer to the equator and I’m thankful that the air conditioning in my room is working. Since two weeks I’m now in Loas, and until now, I really like this country. There are many temples and other sightseeing spots decorating Vientiane. The mix of asian cultur and a bit of a french touch really give this city a special atmosphere. As we had to wait for our system to arrive, I had some time for visiting the city and take a few snapshots:
