Even though it snowed only in the north of finland until now, Helsinki offers several possibilities for cross country skiing. One of them, whereIlkka and I went on friday, is Yllas-Halli. A huge, artificially cooled hall, where they create loppets on two floors. In total we spent around one hour there, spinning around several rounds. Of course we rewarded our selfs with a short finish saune before going back to work for a meeting with Lauri at the Finish Geodetic Institut (FGI).
